ARCADE BOUTIQUE, West Hollywood, CA         Under Construction

Located amidst the growing expanse of Melrose Avenue’s chic retail shops, this 1,600 square foot, high-end women’s boutique redefines the shopping experience. The linear space is punctuated by three triangulated display vitrines. These volumes - extrusions from the floor and ceiling planes - are carved out in the center, exposing sculpted walnut surfaces and creating three distinct merchandise vignettes. Lit from within, the vitrines rhythmically disperse light and create an “arcaded” space, revealed as the customer weaves between the series of platforms. The walnut and cast-like brass elements warm the concrete and acrylic palette; mirrored walls and surfaces visually expand the space and further reflect and filter the light.

NEIL LANE JEWELRY, Los Angeles, CA        Under Construction

Positioned on the corner of La Cienega and the burgeoning Melrose Place, Neil Lane Jewelry’s new 1,400 square foot boutique offers customers a contemporary retail experience, with a few surprises.  An intriguing yet minimal exterior gives way to a spacious and comfortable showroom defined by jewel-like display cases.  The materials highlighted by white oak, Portuguese limestone, and a series of offset panels of ultra-suede.  Although the boutique is a single expansive space, more intimate areas provide for privacy, comfort, and to highlight the collections that define the brand.
